The most common methods are email, SMS, push notifications, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. Many more are available to install, so just check out our communication apps!

Email

With a few exceptions, Envoy emails are sent from [email protected].

This includes all account confirmation emails and magic links for mobile sign-in. If you don't receive our emails, check your spam folder first before contacting support.

If you wish to have emails sent from your own domain, please see our custom email domain article.

Sending SMS notifications in Singapore

If you have a location in Singapore, please contact your Envoy account representative before enabling SMS notifications. Additional setup is required to comply with Singapore government regulations.

Envoy mobile push notifications

Envoy mobile can send push notifications to both iOS and Android devices. PINs for 2FA do not require notifications to be enabled. However, push notifications must be allowed to receive other Envoy push notifications, like host or emergency notifications.

Slack

Slack is a great option for workplaces that already use the app for their teams' communications. Envoy's Slack app can send Host notifications, room check-in reminders, delivery notifications, and more!

Envoy's Virtual front desk can also send channel notifications to ensure no call goes unnoticed.

Microsoft Teams

You can install the Envoy app inside of Teams to receive notifications, create invites and book desks, mark deliveries as picked up, and more!

Please keep in mind that you will only be able to take action based on your company's Envoy plan. For example, Visitors-only plans will only be able to receive a notification when a visitor signs in or send visitor invites. Workplace Premium plans can sign in/out of the workplace, receive a deliveries and more.
