How sign-in works with Connect
When a visitor arrives at your property, they'll be able to complete the sign-in process downstairs. Your building will have an iPad kiosk set up where visitors can self-serve, but lobby security will also have access to the invitation log.
With a QR code
On the iPad, your visitor will select "I have a QR code" if they have their invitation email. This allows them to sign-in faster than if they do not, since the QR code has their information already loaded.
Property Walk-up or no QR code
If visitors don't have a QR code, they'll select the "I don't have a QR code" option. From there, they'll need to fill out the form and choose your company to visit.

Sync lobby visitors to your suite visitors
Once your visitor checks in at the lobby kiosk, they're marked as "here" in the property visitor log. If you would like your visitor to be checked in to your company at this step as well, you'll need to turn on this automation. This makes it easy if you don't require additional steps after lobby check-in.
To enable:
Navigate to Manage > Location settings.
Scroll down to Connect settings and locate Automatically sign in visitors that check in via Connect.
Toggle this setting to On.
✨ Important Notes:
Visitors will only show in the visitor log when the visitor signs in at the suite on the Visitor Kiosk (iPad), if an admin manually signs that person in from the Envoy dashboard, or the sign-ins are set to automatically sync with the lobby.
If a visitor signs-in via the Security Console then the invite will be under Invites and the designated admin will be notified that the visitor has arrived, but they will not be signed in if automatic sign-in is turned off.
Visitor Emails
The visitor experience starts before your guest walks through your workplace doors. It starts the moment you invite them on-site with an email.
