Setting up the survey email

Learn how to set up your survey email and select administrators to receive a weekly email summary of the results.

Overview

Want to know more about your visitors' experiences? You can set up a survey email to automatically send to guests who provide their email addresses. Select administrators will receive a weekly email summary of the results. When enabled, Envoy will email a survey to any forthcoming visitors 24 hours after they sign in.

Note visitors won’t receive the survey email more than once in a six-month period.

Configure the survey email

The survey is a standardized "Thumbs up" or "Thumbs down" format. At this time, you cannot customize the survey email, but visitors can leave free-response feedback.

To enable:

  1. Select Enable.

  2. Under Recipients, choose whether all visitors will receive the survey email or only guests from certain sign-in flows.

  3. Click Save.

Preview the survey email

Switch to the Preview view to see how the survey will appear to visitors.

Getting survey results

  1. Select Edit

  2. Under Results summary, enter the names of any admin that should receive the weekly results.

  3. Click Save.

✨Tip: The results summary email will include a weekly report and CSV file that you can analyze separately.
