Overview
With Envoy Visitors, the last step of the sign-in flow welcomes your visitors to your workplace. By default, on successful sign-ins, visitors will see a celebratory illustration and message on the final screen.
You can customize the final screen to show custom text, an image, or a video. Envoy allows you to have a custom final screen per sign-in flow.
Customers on our Premium and Enterprise plans will be able to configure a custom final screen for each sign-in state: Sign-in complete, Pending approval, and Access denied.
Available on Visitors kiosk v 5.58.0 and up
This article is about the final message shown on the sign-in kiosk. Looking to change the first screen? Check out our Welcome screen article!
How the final screen works
When visitors complete all sign-in steps, they’ll see the final screen. The default final screen appears for 8 seconds, whereas a custom final screen appears for 20 seconds (or a video's duration) before returning to the welcome screen.
With a custom final screen, your text, image, or video will appear in place of the default messages.
The final screen appears during the iPad sign-in process and static QR code sign-in. It is not available via touchless sign-in.
Text
The custom text will appear in a scrollable text area. The text can be as long as you like and include basic formatting like headers, quote blocks, and bold/italics. You can also add images to display in-line with your text.
Image - Still
The image will be resized to fit within the image area. Here, the kiosk shows a map of the office.
Image - Gif
Just like a still image, a gif will be resized to fit the kiosk image area. Gifs must be under 5MB to work properly.
Video
The video will appear on your iPad screen and auto-play.
Need to add multiple videos for compliance reasons? Check out our Assessments feature!
Email me this info
If you’re collecting your visitors’ email addresses, you can add an Email me this info button. This button will appear under your custom text, image, or video.
When tapped, an email containing your custom text, image, or video link will be automatically sent to the visitor.
Whether you’re using the default or a custom final screen, you can always dismiss this screen by tapping the Return home button in the top right corner.
Benefits of the final screen
Offers more customization for your sign-in flow.
If you have multiple visitor types, you can configure the final screen based on their Visitor type (Premium and Enterprise plans).
If you use any features that may require approval (such as rules or ID scanning), you can use the final screen to inform visitors of a denial or pending status.
Examples of custom final screens
You can fully customize the final screen to meet your needs. Here are some creative ways to use the final screen:
Play a safety video
Show your evacuation map
List your Good Manufacturing Practices or site rules & regulations
Show a fun welcome message or GIF (under 5MB)
List follow-up actions for denied visit attempts
💡 Tip: If you have multiple visitor types, you'll configure this setting per visitor type.
