Learn how to create and record walk-up visitors on the security console

Updated over a week ago

Overview:

When a visitor arrives at your building without an invite, security can check them in via the security console. This will create an invite and notify an admin that the visitor has arrived. To review which admin receives notification for lobby sign ins, or learn more about what information is shared with building security, please review our Admin Notifications for lobby sign-in guide.

Important Note:

The security console is the viewpoint of the Envoy dashboard for the Property Security Admin.

FAQ

The fields that the property security desk see are fixed to visitor name, tenant, and host. Any additional details that need to be shared can be added into the “shared notes" field in the invite you send to the visitor.
