Pairing your Envoy Rooms Display
Once you've successfully paired your calendar, you can pair each of your tablets to your meeting rooms. Each tablet will display a pairing code that you can type into your settings in the Envoy Dashboard.
Open the Rooms app on your display device.
Click on Pair Device and take note of your pairing code.
Navigate to your Rooms > My Rooms. Click on Pair a device to open a text box. Enter your pairing code here.
Once you complete the pairing process, you will see the room's schedule display for the day and the room's availability: Green, yellow, or red!
Important Notes:
Each tablet will show its own pairing code, which will expire after 20 minutes.
Ensure you input the code before it expires. You can generate a new code on your tablet if needed.
If you do not see your room listed, ensure you are in the correct location.
You can pair more than one device to each room.
Search in the top right corner of the dashboard.
You can use the bottom arrows to navigate between pages if you have over 25 rooms.
Pairing more than one device to a meeting Room
If you want to connect your room to multiple devices:
Navigate to Rooms > My Rooms.
Find the room you want to pair another device to.
Click on the plus (+) button next to 1 device paired.
Insert the pairing code for the tablet you want to connect to the meeting room.
Once complete you will see the room's schedule display for the day, and the Rooms green, yellow, or red availability indicator.
You can also add another device by clicking Manage next to your room.
Scroll down to Devices and input the pairing code for the second tablet you want to sync to your room.
Unpairing your Envoy Rooms Display
Via the Envoy dashboard:
Navigate to Rooms > My Rooms
Find the room and click Manage
Scroll down to Devices
Click the vertical ellipses in the top right corner
Click Remove device
Via the tablet:
Click the company logo at the top right of the screen
Type your Settings access code into the tablet. If you don't know the code, you can find it under Rooms > Settings.
After typing in the code, you should see the device Settings.
Tap Unpair device.
Room has been unassigned (error screen)
If a room is unassigned from a location, you will see the following error screen showing up on the tablet.
Follow these steps to pair your tablet to your room.
Enabling a light-up case
If you purchased a light-up case for your tablet, you must enable the case in the settings. Read more about our supported cases here.
To enable your light-up case:
Navigate to Rooms > My Rooms.
Find the Room.
Click on Manage.
Under Devices, select either Generic or Visual Target.
