One of the main benefits of using Envoy Rooms tablets is the ability to see at a glance whether a room is available. The color on a room display tells anyone walking by whether the room is free, without them stopping to read a screen. With color-coded displays, the tablet can quickly show employees whether the room is currently occupied.

The status colors are the same on every supported device, so you can run a mix of hardware across (or within) your locations and employees still read every display the same way.

If the iPad display is green, no meeting is currently occurring in that room. Envoy Rooms will also calculate the time the room will be free until the next scheduled meeting. 

If you need the room, choose the duration you need (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, or until the next meeting, depending on where that falls) and click Book now. Learn more about booking a room.

If the display is yellow, a meeting is scheduled to begin in the next 5 minutes. Meeting attendees can check in and secure their room. Read more about check-in and room release here.

If the display is red, that means a meeting is currently taking place in this room. The Schedule display shows how long until the meeting ends, whether another meeting follows, and the room's schedule for the rest of the day.
