Simplify your workflow by editing multiple desks at once!

Overview

If you need to update your interactive workplace map, you can save time by selecting multiple desks at once, and apply changes en masse. You can make bulk edits on your live map or in a draft.

With multiple desks selected, you can take the following actions:

Selecting multiple desks

  1. To select multiple desks, hold the ⇧Shift key, click, and drag your cursor to create a bounding box. All desks contained within this box will be selected.

  2. The desks will be listed in the side panel, along with their attributes: Name, Neighborhood, Assigned employee, and Desk amenities.

  3. To remove desks from your selection, just click the X next to their name under Selected desks.

Assign a neighborhood

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click the dropdown under Neighborhood.

  3. Select the neighborhood you want to assign.

    1. ✨Tip: Click on View to see the neighborhood's details

  4. The selected desks will now be in your desired neighborhood.

  5. Remember to Save after making any changes.

Remove neighborhood assignment

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click the dropdown under Neighborhood.

    1. ✨Note: The neighborhood will say Multiple if the selection encompasses multiple neighborhoods.✨

  3. Click Clear selection to remove the assigned neighborhood(s).

Remove assigned employees

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click the dropdown under Assigned employee.

    1. ✨Note: You cannot assign a single employee to multiple desks via the bulk selection tool.

  3. Select Unassign all to remove all employees assigned to the selected desks.

  4. Remember to Save your map after making changes.

Assign desk amenities

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click the dropdown under Desk amenities.

  3. Click the checkbox next to any amenity you wish to add.

    1. Note: If desks have different amenities, they'll be listed as [count] of [total] desks.

  4. Any newly added amenities will be applied to all desks in the selection.

  5. Remember to Save!

Remove desk amenities

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click the dropdown under Desk amenities.

  3. Click Deselect all to remove all amenities from selected desks.

Move desks

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click on the desks to move them to the desired place.

Delete selected desks

  1. Select multiple desks by holding the ⇧Shift key, clicking, and dragging your cursor to create a bounding box.

  2. Click on the 🗑️ trashcan icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

  3. Confirm the deletion of desks by clicking Delete desks.
