Steps to connect your account to a property

Connecting to property

  1. You should receive an email to connect to a property. This will contain a link for you to sign-in or create an account.

  2. Click Login and connect.

  3. If you do not have an account you will be taken to the sign up page. At the top you will see the property that has invited you.

  4. Once logged in you will be prompted to connect your account to the property.

  5. Click Connect.

Alternate Method for Connecting to property building

If you are not able to receive an invite email, you can connect to a property via a connection token. Reach out to your property manager if you do not have a token. Tokens expire after 7 days.

  1. In your Envoy account, navigate to Location Settings.

  2. Click Edit next to Connect to a Property under Connect settings.

  3. Click Create Connection.

  4. Enter in the property connection token provided by your building property manager and select Next.

  5. Select Connect to grant the property building access to your visitor log and invite log.

  6. Once connected you will see the Connection Status as Green.

    1. This builds a connection with the security console where only necessary information will be shared with building security.

    2. This includes the visitor’s name, the tenant they are associated with, the time and date that they're supposed to arrive as well as any shared notes that you include on invites.

Data Sharing

Your property team will have access to:

  • View invites and visitor logs

  • Modify some visitor data

  • Create new invites for visitors and sign-in records

  • Apply property rules

  • Create visitor registrations for walk-in guests
