Pairing your Envoy Rooms Display

Once you've successfully paired your calendar, you can pair each of your tablets to your meeting rooms. Each tablet will display a pairing code that you can type into your settings in the Envoy Dashboard.

  1. Open the Rooms app on your device. (iOS or Android)

  2. Click on Pair Device and take note of your pairing code.

  3. Input your device pairing code next to the room you want to pair.

  4. Once complete you will see the room's schedule display for the day, and the Rooms green, yellow, or red availability indicator.

Important Notes:

  1. Each tablet will show its own pairing code which will expire after 20 minutes.

  2. Make sure that you input the code before it expires or generate a new code on your tablet (if needed).

  3. If you do not see your room listed, be sure that you are under the correct location. See the top left of your Envoy dashboard.

  4. You can pair more than one device to each room.

  5. Search in the top right corner of the dashboard or use the arrows next to the table headers to quickly find the rooms you’re looking for.

  6. If you have more than 5 rooms on the page you can use the bottom right arrows to skip to the next page of rooms.

Pairing more than one device to a meeting Room

If you want to connect your room to multiple devices:

  1. Find the room you want to pair another device to.

  2. Click on the plus (+) button next to “1 device paired”.

  3. Insert the pairing code for the tablet you want to connect to the meeting room.

  4. Once complete you will see the room's schedule display for the day, and the Rooms green, yellow, or red availability indicator.

  5. You can also add another device by clicking Manage next to your room.

  6. Scroll down to Devices and input the pairing code for the second tablet you want to sync to your room.

Unpairing your Envoy Rooms Display

Via the Envoy dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Rooms > My Rooms

  2. Find the room and click Manage

  3. Scroll down to Devices

  4. Click the vertical ellipses in the top right corner

  5. Click Remove device

Via the tablet:

  1. Click the company logo at the top right of the screen

  2. Type your Settings access code into the tablet. If you don't know the code, you can find it here Rooms > Settings.

    1. Note to change this code for any reason, hit the pencil icon next to your access code, delete the code, type in a new code and press enter or return to save.

  3. After typing in the code, you should see the device Settings.

  4. Tap Unpair device.

Room has been unassigned (error screen)

  1. If a room is unassigned from a location, you will see the following error screen showing up on the tablet.

    "This room has been unassigned" error message that will pop up on the tablet if your room becomes unassigned to your room.
  2. Follow these steps to pair your tablet to you room.

Enabling a light-up case

If you purchased a light-up case for your tablet, you will need to enable the case in the settings. Read more about our supported cases here.

To enable your light-up case:

  1. Navigate to Rooms > My Rooms.

  2. Find the Room.

  3. Click on Manage.

  4. Under Devices select either Generic or Visual Target.
