Connect Employee Credentialing at Kiosk

Provide employees that forget their badge at home with self-service support to access the building.

Updated over a week ago

Overview

This feature allows employees in Connect buildings to request a temporary 1-day digital property pass via the kiosk to enter the building if they're visiting from another site, permanently remote, or when they forget their badge at home. Once authenticated in the kiosk, employees can choose whether they want their temporary pass to be emailed or texted to them.

Prerequisites

Visitors Kiosk App

The Envoy Visitors app must be on version 4.16.0 and up.

Access Control (Property Only)

Enabling this kiosk feature requires that you have installed and configured one of our access control integration apps listed in our app store here.

Currently this feature only supports the Lenel Netbox and C-CURE 9000 integrations. We plan to add more integrations in the future.

Employee Directory (Tenant only)

Temporary passes are only available to employees that are added under your Envoy employee directory. Learn more here about how to setup your directory.
