Attendance Corrections

Learn how to allow and approve employee-submitted attendance corrections.

Updated today

Overview

If your workplace tracks onsite attendance with Envoy, it’s important that your check-in data accurately reflects the days employees were present. But sometimes people forget to check in. Envoy allows employees to submit an attendance correction request if a past day was marked as "not onsite" by mistake.

How to enable

Attendance corrections are a global setting. Once enabled, this feature will be available to all employees at all locations.

  1. Locate Enable Attendance Corrections and toggle it to On.

  2. Your settings will automatically update and allow employees to use Envoy mobile to submit attendance correction requests.

Approving attendance requests

Attendance corrections are handled at the location level. Admins will receive email notifications when a submission is made.

To view attendance requests:

  1. By default, the last 90 days are shown. You can change this by using the date filters at the top of the page.

  2. Any new corrections will be listed under Pending.

    1. Hovering over the Reason will display the submission notes from the employee.

    2. Clicking View details will open the Employee attendance report in a new window.

  3. Approve or Deny the request to take action.

    1. An email will be sent to the employee notifying them of the status change.

  4. Once the correction has been approved or denied, it will move into the Resolved category with the name of the admin who approved the correction.

If the correction is approved, it may take up to 2 hours to be reflected in the mobile app and Attendance report.

If denied, employees will be informed of the denial. They will be able to submit additional requests via Envoy mobile.
