About POIs on Maps
As part of our Workplace Standard plan, Envoy's new map feature helps team members navigate the office effortlessly.
With Points of Interest on maps, admins can offer a complete overview of the workplace, including safety features like AEDs and fire extinguishers. This user-friendly tool enhances employee experience, improves safety, and boosts productivity.
Benefits
As an Employee: You can easily find the tools and resources you need on the mobile or desktop map, to do your best work. Whether you’re new to the workplace or just rarely in-office, you’ll be able to remain productive and enjoy a safe, great workplace experience. Additionally, you'll be able to find all the important resources, including printers, mother's room, kitchenettes, AEDs, fire extinguishers, and more!
As an Admin: You can deliver a great workplace experience for every employee. With Envoy’s Workplace Maps, you can help employees navigate the office with ease and ensure safety/security features are in place such as emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and more.
How It Works:
Admins can upload a static map and then add Points of Interest (POI) to the map. Choose from a predefined list of POI types including custom POI, name the POI and add notes.
Navigate to your Envoy Dashboard > Maps.
Create a floor by uploading a workplace map.
Give your floor a name.
Click on the Edit tab at the top of your map.
Click on a POI on the right side of the map.
Click on the map where you want to place the resource.
Give the resource a name or keep the default name, if you'd like.
Add any necessary notes.
Repeat steps 5-8 as many times as you need to add all of your POI to your map.
If you want to add a POI that's not listed, select "Custom", give the POI a name and add relevant notes. Employees will see a generic icon on the map where you've placed this custom POI.
Be sure to click Save once you are done.
