Using the Strategic Insights dashboard

Work schedule and real estate input

Here, you can customize the data to match your onsite policy and real estate costs. You can change this data as often as needed, and the dashboard will be updated accordingly.

Days in office: How many days and on which days are employees onsite?

Hours in office: On average, how long is an employee at work? This number helps calculate how resources are used in relation to overall time spent in the office.

Cost per square foot: The cost per square foot of your commercial space.

Total square feet: How big is your space?

Location capacity: Your workspace's overall capacity. This number is independent of the capacity set in your location settings and can be changed as needed to update the dashboard.

Rooms Insights

% Time reserved by room size

This chart groups your rooms according to size and shows how each group is used, based on the percentage of time they're booked. This percentage is based on room bookings vs. time spent in the workplace.

Room Capacity Utilization

This chart tracks how efficiently rooms are used by comparing the number of people booked in a room to its capacity. If only a few people consistently use a large room, the dashboard flags it as underutilized, suggesting a need for reallocation. The following designations are given to rooms:

  • Underutilized: ≥50% of the time, these rooms are used by groups smaller than the set capacity

  • Overutilized: ≥50% of the time, these rooms are used by groups larger than the set capacity

  • Fully utilized: The room does not fall under over or under, so it is considered fully utilized. If the room is booked, it most likely has the same number of attendees as the listed capacity.

Desks Insights

Square feet per desk

This number shows the square feet allocated per desk, based on the total number of desks at this location.

Desk utilization by week
