Reprinting badges

You can reprint any visitor badge at any time.

  1. Ensure that the Envoy app is open on the iPad.

  2. Locate the visitor that needs a new badge, and click the ellipsis (…) icon to the right of the visitor information.

  3. From the dropdown, select Reprint badge

  4. Alternatively, you can also check the box next to their name and select Reprint badge at the top.

    1. Tip: This is good for if you need to reprint multiple badges.

Preprinting badges

You can preprint a badge for any invited visitor who has not yet signed in.

  1. Make sure the iPad is on and the Envoy iPad app is open (this is required to pre-print badges).

  2. On your computer, go to Visitors > Invites.

  3. To preprint one badge, locate the invite for which you’d like to pre-print.

    1. Click the ellipsis (…) icon to the right of the invite information.

  4. From the dropdown, select Preprint badge

  5. To preprint multiple badges, select multiple invites by clicking the checkboxes to the left of the name.

  6. Click Preprint badges at the top.

Important Note: If the pre-printed badge is not showing the visitor's photo:

  1. Sign in the visitor.

  2. Re-print the badge.

  3. Once the visitor arrives, you can update their sign-in time on the dashboard.

FAQ

If we preprint badges, will the badge print again when the customer signs in on the iPad?

  • No, the badge will not print again.

How do I get the pre-printed badge to show the visitor's photo?

  • If your visitor has a photo on file from a past visit or their pre-registration, the badge should be printed with the visitor's photo. If not, try the following:

    • Sign in the visitor.

    • Re-print the badge.

    • Once the visitor arrives, you can update their sign-in time on the dashboard by editing the visitor entry.
