AI is changing what software can do, and we think that's good news for the people who run workplaces. Since the workplace is a setting where trust matters more than novelty, we adopt AI where it meaningfully improves the product and hold it to the same standard as everything else we build.
Envoy does not use your data to train AI models. Our AI Terms contractually prohibit Envoy and our third-party AI providers from using your inputs or outputs to train or improve generative AI models.
You own your inputs and outputs.
AI that involves a third-party provider is opt-in, enabled by an admin.

Is my data used to train Anthropic's models, or any other AI provider's models?
No.
Which AI providers does Envoy use?
Anthropic powers document parsing and is listed as an optional subprocessor. Veriff provides ID scanning and verification. Amazon Web Services provides the image recognition behind returning-visitor detection. Deliveries label reading was built in-house. Our current subprocessor list is the authoritative source for third-party providers.
Can I use Envoy without sending data to a third-party AI provider?
Yes. Every feature that sends your data to a third-party AI provider is opt-in. If you don't enable them, your data isn't sent to one.
