Step 1: Connecting your Envoy account with Google Drive
You must install the Google Drive integration via the integrations page. We reccomened installing the integration using a service account, instead of tying it to a personal email.
Navigate to Integrations, then search for Google Drive. Click Install.
Click Connect Account to open the Google Drive authorization window.
Click Allow to accept the permissions.
(Optional) If you use Envoy Visitors, you can select a folder for your Visitor's NDAs to be stored in.
Finish installation by clicking Complete setup or Skip and Complete.
Step 2: Import content
Once your Envoy account is connected to Google Drive, you can add your content to your Screens library.
Navigate to Screens > Content, then click + New. Select Google Drive from the dropdown.
By default, your available Presentations will be loaded. Click the one you wish to import into Envoy, then click Select.
Your content will be loaded into your library and made available for addition to a Playlist! Clicking on your content will load content details, like time added and time last modified.
FAQs
Can my Slides include videos?
Auto-playing videos with audio is unsupported on some devices. This causes the slideshow to not progress past the affected slide(s) until interacted with.
Can Envoy access all content on a shared drive?
Screens can only access Drive content that has been shared with the connected service account. If you'd like something to be completely private from a shared drive, but still accessible via Screens, you can share the content directly with the service account.
