Overview
You can connect your Microsoft Power BI account to Envoy Screens to make it easy to display your existing content across your workplace! By connecting your Power BI account, you can pull images, videos, and presentations directly into Screens playlists, so there's no need to re-upload or manage files in multiple places.
Step 1: Connecting your Envoy account with PowerBI
You must install the Power BI integration via the integrations page. We recommend installing the integration using a service account rather than tying it to a personal email.
First, log into your Power BI account.
In Envoy, navigate to Integrations, then search for PowerBI. Click Install.
Click Connect Account to open the Power BI authorization window.
Your account connection will be established. You will see a Saved Successfully message when complete.
Step 2: Import Content from Power BI
Now that you have an account connected, you must add your reports to the Screens content library.
Navigate to Screens > Content. Click + New, then select Power BI from the dropdown.
Reports that you have access to will be shown here. Select your report, then click Add.
Your content will be loaded into your library and made available for addition to a Playlist! Clicking on your content will load content details, like time added and time last modified.
