Overview
By integrating with the National Weather Service, admins can easily access relevant weather alerts within the Envoy dashboard. These alerts can be automatically loaded into an Emergency notification to be quickly shared with employees and visitors.
How to enable
To enable this pilot feature, you must contact us.
Using NWS Weather Alerts
Navigate to Communications > NWS Alerts.
Alerts will populate into this page as they are received.
To view details about each alert, click See More.
Click Send Notification to automatically load the alert into Envoy.
Once loaded, you can edit the notification text to only include details relevant to your workplace. There is a limit of 320 characters.
By default, the message will be marked as an emergency, and recipients will be asked to respond. The default audience will be set as the employee directory of your current location, as well as visitors invited and signed in. All delivery methods available will be selected.
Click Send Now to send your notification.
Once sent, you'll be directed to the Message log, where you can track recipients and their responses.

Can I send alerts via Envoy mobile?
At this time, the NWS alerts integration is only available via the web dashboard.
