AI is changing what software can do, and we think that's good news for the people who run workplaces. Since the workplace is a setting where trust matters more than novelty, we adopt AI where it meaningfully improves the product and hold it to the same standard as everything else we build.
Envoy does not use your data to train AI models. Our AI Terms contractually prohibit Envoy and our third-party AI providers from using your inputs or outputs to train or improve generative AI models.
You own your inputs and outputs.

FAQ
Is my data used to train Anthropic's models, or any other AI provider's models?
No. Anthropic's Claude model processes it through Amazon Bedrock, which AWS runs in an environment isolated per model provider. Anthropic can't access that environment, and AWS doesn't share the underlying prompts or outputs with Anthropic.
Which AI providers does Envoy use?
Anthropic powers document parsing and is listed as an optional subprocessor. Amazon Web Services (Rekognition) provides the image recognition behind returning-visitor detection and ID Scanning facial matching. Deliveries label reading was built in-house. Our current subprocessor list is the authoritative source for third-party providers.
Can I use Envoy without sending data to a third-party AI provider?
Yes. Every feature that sends your data to a third-party AI provider is opt-in. If you don't enable them, your data isn't sent to one.
