Data Security at Envoy

Envoy limits access to customer data to the fewest people necessary to operate and support the service.

Access to customer accounts is limited to the Envoy teams whose roles require it, primarily our support and customer success teams, so they can help you troubleshoot issues and get the most out of Envoy. Not everyone at Envoy can access customer data.

All Envoy employees complete security training, and our support and customer success teams receive additional training on data privacy and the responsible handling of customer information. Envoy forbids accessing customer data outside of legitimate support and service circumstances.

Envoy also relies on a small set of trusted third-party sub-processors (for example, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers) to deliver the service. Each sub-processor is vetted and bound by data protection obligations. You can review the current list on our sub-processors page and read how we handle personal data in our full privacy policy.
