Overview
The Mist integration enables you to easily provide each of your visitors unique access to your Wi-Fi network.
For Workplace, Mist can be used for employee auto check-in.
How does this integration work?
When a visitor signs in with Envoy, Mist receives their information and automatically provisions a temporary code to access your Wi-Fi network. Envoy then sends this code to the visitor via email or text message.ย
PREREQUISITES:
For this integration to work, you must collect either visitor email addresses or phone numbers at sign-in. Learn more about how to configure your Envoy sign-in fields.
Please ensure that the username has sufficient permissions to create single-use codes.
This integration is configured per location. If using multiple locations, then the integration must be installed at each location.

Decide which authentication method your workplace will use.
Identity authentication with user email
This option uses the employee's login username and password to verify their connection to the workplace's wifi. This relies on user-level authentication. User emails within Mist must match employee emails within Envoy.
Select this method, then click Complete setup to save.
Device authentication with MAC address
This option requires uploading a CSV with all employee device MAC addresses mapped to employee email addresses. Employees can have multiple MAC addresses. The CSV emails must match the emails in the Employee Directory.
Select Device authentication with MAC address to open the CSV upload menu.
Your CSV file must contain two columns:
email, mac_addressDrag and drop your CSV or select a file from your computer.
Click Upload.
Once successful, click Complete Setup.
