Eagle Eye Networks

Learn how to connect your Envoy account to Eagle Eye Networks to automatically record visits and enhance workplace security.

Updated today

Overview

Envoy integrates with Eagle Eye Networks to automatically log visitor activity into their cloud video surveillance system.

By syncing Envoy visitor events with Eagle Eye’s camera timeline and enabling future video alert ingestion, security teams gain a more complete, real-time view of what’s happening across their physical spaces.

How it works

When a visitor signs in via Envoy, Envoy sends the event data to Eagle Eye. The visitor event then shows on the camera timeline, helping the security team correlate sign-ins with recorded footage.

Key capabilities:

  • Visitor Event Logging to Video Timeline

  • Fast Video Correlation

  • Improved Investigations

  • Automated Audit Trail

PREREQUISITES

  • Eagle Eye Networks admin role

Configuration

Step 1: API Access

  1. On your Envoy dashboard, navigate to Integrations and search for Eagle Eye Networks. Click Install to begin configuration.

  2. Click Connect account.

  3. A window will open, and you'll be prompted to sign in to your Eagle Eye account.

  4. Once logged in, you'll be moved to the next step.

Step 2: Visitors

This step determines which camera feed Envoy sends event data to. You can only select one camera, so choose the one that provides the best view of visitors.

  1. Use the drop-down and select the camera to link with Envoy.

  2. Click Complete setup to save.

Visitor Data Visibility in Eagle Eye + FAQ

Envoy sends enriched visitor metadata along with each event, but this information is not currently rendered or clickable within the Eagle Eye interface. This means that security teams can see the event marker in Eagle Eye, but cannot click through to view visitor details or open the Envoy record. Security teams will still need to rely on the Envoy Visitor log to provide full context to workplace activity.
