How does Envoy define Active Users?

What is an active user?

"Active User” is an individual who has used any Envoy platform feature or integration or checked-in to the office in the past 90 days.

What actions will make someone “active”?

  • Logging in or viewing the Envoy web or mobile app

  • Pressing a button on a notification sent from Envoy on Slack, Teams or Envoy mobile

  • Being automatically signed into the office by any of our auto sign-in features such as GPS, access control, WiFi, etc

  • Having a reservation created by someone else

    • For example, If an EA makes a reservation for Bobby, then Bobby will become an active user at the reservation start time

  • Booking a room on Envoy mobile

  • Receiving a package

    • For example, if a package is scanned and Bobby is the recipient, then Bobby is considered an active user at the time of scanning

The following actions alone will not make someone an active user:

  • Receiving a notification

  • Downloading the mobile app

  • Viewing the Slack, Google Calendar, Outlook or Teams integrations without taking an action

  • Being in the directory

FAQ

  • For Workplace, you can have unlimited users in the directory. We only bill based on active users.
